Owners, Mark Byer and Jim Sather were raised in Rochester and care deeply about its success, as well as the citizens of our entire community.
We annually sponsor 2 Youth Baseball & 2 Youth Football teams, as well as help with local fund raisers. We’re active in supporting schools in Southern Minnesota
with donations, and have even helped 2 different schools prep for a play performance by transporting their set, or even providing needed props. We annually sponsor
the Stay Out Of The Sun run to benefit skin cancer research, and host a Toy for Tot’s drop-off location and promote the great work they do.
We value our customers and the community in which we are blessed to be apart of. The Rochester community supports our store so it is only necessary that we support
the local organizations looking to make a difference in this world. By each of us helping out a little bit, we can easily make a positive impact in someone else’s life.
Annually for the past decade, we've sponsered teams both in RYFA and RYBA.
Stay Out of the Sun Run is a 5k & 10k race held annually in Rochester, MN. All the money raised is donated to Mayo Clinic to help fight Melanoma and find a cure.
Over $382,000 has been raised in the past 12 years. Furniture Superstore supports and has been a sponsor of the race.
Each year in the months leading up to Christmas, Furniture Superstore sponsors, promotes, collects, and donate toys
to Toys for Tots. Toys for Tots then gives the gifts to kids who don’t get much of anything for Christmas.
