About Us

The Furniture Superstore was founded in 2003 and is locally owned and operated by Rochester natives Jim Sather and Mark Byer. It is the largest store in the area, with nearly 100,000 square feet of showroom space. That space is filled with more than 100 sofas, 45 sectionals (both stationary and reclining), and more than 30 different bedroom and dining room options. In addition to living room, bedroom and dining options, the Furniture Superstore also displays the area’s largest selection of Serta and Beautyrest mattresses and accessories.

With all of this space, it is nearly impossible to not find the perfect pieces for your home. It also allows us the unique ability to get you your product quickly. If your perfect piece isn’t in stock and you’re in a hurry, we have the ability to sell many of our items right off the floor.

Because we have one of the largest stores in the state of Minnesota, the companies we’ve chosen to do business with give us the best prices and service. In turn, we’re able to pass those great savings and timely shipments on to you, our valued customer.

Value is what our store and staff are really after. Often, value and cheap are terms that can be confused with one another. We aren’t here to sell cheap product. Instead, each order is built to the exact specifications of the customer and delivered within a 30-day window. Best Home Furnishings – One of the oldest and largest chair and sofa companies in the world. A leader in price and quality, Best specializes, like many of our companies, in special orders. Fabric and style options number in the thousands, and in keeping with our goal of getting you your furniture quickly, most orders will be received within 30 days of purchase.

Product Availability

If you have become used to waiting weeks or months for your previous furniture purchases, fear not, we’re not like the “other guys”. Though we have our special-order exceptions, much of our showroom is well-stocked in our 15,000 square-foot warehouse or available to be sold right off the floor! In many cases, we can also offer same- or next-day local delivery.
